4. Payment Terms

Payment for services is due upon completion of work unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, major credit cards, and checks (subject to bank clearance). For insurance claims, we will work directly with your insurance company, but you remain responsible for any deductible amounts and costs not covered by your policy.

5. Warranties and Disclaimers

Dick's Body Shop provides warranties on workmanship as follows:

• Paint work: Lifetime warranty against peeling, flaking, or bubbling under normal conditions
• Body work: 5-year warranty against defects in workmanship
• Parts: Warranties provided by manufacturers apply to all replaced parts

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, misuse, neglect, or acts of nature. Our services are provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

6. Customer Property and Vehicles

While your vehicle is in our care, we exercise reasonable care to protect it. However, Dick's Body Shop is not responsible for:

• Personal belongings left in the vehicle (please remove valuables before service)
• Pre-existing damage not related to our work
• Damage from road hazards, weather, or acts of nature
• Normal wear and tear during the repair process

Vehicles left unattended for more than 30 days after completion of work may be subject to storage fees and may be disposed of in accordance with Alaska law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, and software, is the property of Dick's Body Shop or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content from this website without express written permission from Dick's Body Shop.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dick's Body Shop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the website
• Any services obtained through the website
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the website
• Delays or disruptions in our services

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alaska, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alaska, specifically the Superior Court for Ketchikan Gateway Borough or the Alaska Court of Appeals.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Dick's Body Shop. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Dick's Body Shop shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.

12. Severability
